Setting up micro enterprises |
 One of our visions is to provide the opportunity to start up small businesses, as there is a lack of employment opportunities. This is Jaime who is an experienced farmer. He, his wife and 9 children were forced out of their farm some years ago by the Colombian rebels. In an effort to provide for his family he had been selling cooked food on the streets. He has not been able to meet hi s family's needs. But now CCCUK has provided them with a micro enterprise chicken farm and for the first time since they became displaced, a brick-built house. Their previous accommodation was a rented shack which collapsed. Most of their children go to the Oasis school and attend the feeding centre.
